aspWebLinks hack patch 2.0
One of my clients web site are using aspWebLinks 2.0 for the link exchange program. and i just got a news that someone can hack in to their link exchange site. Apparently how they do it its because there is a security hole in aspWeblinks script which make other people can use Remote SQL Injection to change the Admin Password.
For you guys who get hacked on your aspWebLinks code, you can use some prevention by checking the referrer site to that link.asp page. If the referrer site is not your domain, then just reject or redirect it to the other page. Or you can just download the patch with sql injection prevention from here aspweblinks version 2.1 from here:

Notice that you can just copy the link.asp file and replace the old file. And no need to replace whole file, especially the database. Otherwise you will lose your old data fom old database.
how to get more traffic for new site
Here’s another new website i just developed. “TelephoneCardsReview.com” as aguide, review, and news to telephonecards, phone cards and calling cards industry. In this article i would like to mention some step i gonna do to market this new website and generate more traffic to this new website.
- Always make sure you start with Search engine friendly site.
If your site is a blog then word press is one of the best choice. - Ping
There are a lot of site you can ping to , once you create a new contents for your site. this for sure can add more traffic to your site as well. - Put link on other sites with PR>3
the reason is so your new site can be easily get indexed by search engine. I used this technique instead of manually add my site to goggle, and it works very well so far. Most of my new site get indexed within 2 weeks. - Contents is the king
Always remember to keep adding your contents. My suggestion is don’t add too many new pages in one day, but add it maybe 5 article a day, but do it everyday. - Build a directory pages for link exchange with other sites.
Thats the first 5 steps i already done right now, and i’m still adding new contents each day. I will discuss more about what is the next step to do when your site already get indexed from search engine.
