Digital Photo Frame
I notice that digital photo frame is getting hot right now. If you search on ebay or other shopping site, you will be able to see that a lot of people are bidding for this item these days. For you guys who doesn’t know what it digital photo frame, It is actually like ordinary picture frame but It contains an LCD screen, which can displays photos or even play mp3 and videos without having to connect to computer. You can just plug in your memory card or USB flash drive and it will be shown on the digital photo frame.
What you need to know when choosing digital photo frame?
- LCD Screen size and resolution
One of the most important points from digital photo frame is the quality of the images. Make sure the resolution is good enough and the screen size is big enough to show off your photos. Higher resolution is better. - How many colors
higher color will produce better quality of photos. - Supported input media such as USB flash drive, SD, MMC and Mini SD Card Slot
- Supported file formats
make sure the digital picture frame can supports the images, video, or audio formats your want to use. The most common format for images is JPG, for audio is MP3 and WMA, and for video is MPEG and avi - Viewing angles : the angles which images can be viewed horizontally and vertically.
Higher number is better. - Any remote control ?

Art Sculpture by the sea
I went to Bronte beach on saturday, because my wife’s friend said that there is an art exhibition along the beach from bondi beach to bronte beach. Not really sure what kind of exhibition is that, i try to search on google, then i find out its actually a exhibition of contemporary sculpture, named as Sculpture by the sea, started from 2-19th September 2006.

Sclupture by the Sea, Bondi is Australia’s largest annual outdoor free to the public exhibition of contemporary sculpture.The tenth annual exhibition features 108 artists from 15 different countries and runs from 2 - 19 November. Staged along Sydney’s spectacular Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk, the exhibition attracts over 400,000 visitors and exhibits over 100 works by artists from Australia and overseas.
I catched the bus 378 from elizabeth st, because i cant find any bus which go to bronte beach direct from circulay quay. Once i get there, i stay for a while in bronte beach because my wife never been there before. Its just a small beach compared to bondi beach which is much bigger. But the view and scenery its as good as you can see from bondi as well.
Started from Bronte beach , we walked along the coastal, towards the bondi beach at the end.
Australia Interest Rate
As many people predicted before, the interest rate is increase again for the third time on this year 2006. It was first increase on may 2006, then August 2006, then and finally today on November 2006. Three times raise in the same year, that’s very interesting.
Today, the Australia Reserve Bank increase the interes rates by a quarter of one per cent to 6.25 per cent. For people who are looking forward to buying our own first house this kind of circumstances is a bit scary, because if we take a mortgage on variable rate, then its a really a bad news for us. Lucky i didn’t sign up with any mortgage with variable rate yet , because actually I’m looking forward to own my first house/apartment unit here in Sydney. But for sure next year, i might get one once i find a good unit around Sydney. Hopefully at that time the house price will getting cheaper or interest rate might be lower ( but i don’t think its gonna be happened)

Adon Concert in Sydney
I went to Rock church yesterday morning, as i usually went there every week, but i didn’t go there last week because i got to accompany my friends who came from indonesia for holiday here. So i didn’t really know that there will be a special guest on this week. His name is adon, one of the member of famous music group in indonesia. I cant really remember what is the group name at the beginning, it takes me a while to find out what group is that. Then finally i remember the group name is Base jam, but I’m not really sure if the band still exist till now or not, because i have been away from Indonesia for almost 5 years already now, and don’t really know what is going on with music industry there.
Apparently Adon is a Christian, and he shared a bit of his life experience with us. The main point of his sharing is no matter what happened in your life, no matter how bad it is, always be thankful to God, because if you see other people life, their life might be not as good as yours.
After sharing with us, he sing a Christian song, which is one of his new song from his latest album. I’m not sure what is the title of the song, but when he started sing the song, i was amazed. His voice is so cool. Everyone was stunned by his voice . I wish you luck and God bless you all the time Adon for your work in serving god and your music career.
