Ebay Remove Revise Item Duration
I was going to extend the expiry date of one of the item i sell on ebay, and then i realize i cant do it anymore now. Apparently Ebay has applied new rule regarding this matter.
Here’s what it said in ebay announcements:
Back in January, our Trust & Safety policy team made an important change that prohibits the practice of extending the duration of an auction. These auction extensions disrupt normal bidding patterns, creating a poor buyer experience. Some sellers were also using this ability to gain an advantage for their listings in terms of exposure on the site. The option to extend your listing duration in our listing tools has now been modified to be in compliance with this policy change.
Two-Hour Window to revise item durationSellers will notice that the ability to change their listing’s duration has been removed from the Sell Your Item form, Turbo Lister, and any third-party tools which utilise our API once 2 hours have passed after the start time of the listing. We wanted to be sure to make a 2-hour window available so that sellers will still have the opportunity to correct their listing if they discover they have listed it with the wrong duration.
So for you guys who used to take advantage of the extending expiry date feature on ebay, now you only have 2 hrs to do it once you post the item.
I’m back! From Holiday in Singapore and Indonesia
Finally i’m back in sydney again, after 1 month holiday in Indonesia and singapore. From Sydney, I stop over in Singapore for 3 days, then went straight to Surabaya Indonesia. Not many thing I did in Singapore actually, most of the times accompanied my wife go shopping, eating, and visited my auntie and cousin there. The food are so yummy, and its half price of the price I usually pay in Sydney. I can’t really remember all the food I had there though. The one I remember is I had hainan chicken, prawn noodle soup, ice kacang, and some sort of seafood omelets.
In Singapore , i stayed in Parkview hotel. From changi airport we catch the cab, and it only cost us around sg$15. It’s very cheap compare to how much I have to pay in Sydney city to Sydney airport , aus$35( which maybe have the same distance from city to change airport). Regarding the Parkview hotel, The hotel lobby is a bit dirty, but once we get inside the room, its pretty clean. What we like about the hotel is the location. It’s located in bugis junction, very close to BG Junction, and also MRT station. Well, for sg$90 /night rate, i would say it’s worth to stay in this hotel. The rate is including the breakfast as well, which is really a good deal for me.
On the 3rd day, I also went to visit sentosa island. I didn’t spend too much time there, because my wife still want to do some shopping before we are leaving. So we just stay for while, took some pictures then we went back to city again to do more shopping for a gift for our relative in Indonesia.
