2nd day in Melbourne
On my second day we decided to walk around in city and also tried to book for our 1 day trip either to Great ocean road or to watch the Pengiun. Because We are not sure yet which tour we gonna booked with , thats why we still walking around , grabbed some brochures whenever we found a 1 day tour agent. Finally we decided to book with grayline tour which is located close to the chinatown city . After talked with the friendly staff, she said to me, what is the cheapest price i got, she said she can beat it. So she offered me $99 including lunch and pickup serive in our hotel as well. Thats sounds pretty good deal for me, so i took the deal, and pay off for 4 tickets. My advice if you want to book for 1 day tour, try to grabbed some brochure first, and bring it to them, so they can beat the price cheaper or at least same for you. One consideration why i booked with them is because they are using big buss, so for sure it will be more comfortable for me on the journey.
One of the nice thing i like about the transportation in melbourne city is they got a free tram , which they called it city circle tram. But this tram only operate from 10am-6pm. Imagine if we got this kind of free service in sydney, it must already save me a lot of money for the buss ticket. By using this free city circle tram, we went to the parliament house to take some picture, then we go to federation square, had a rest a while there with a cup of coffee in the coffee shop close to the federation square. We also took picture of the famous flinders station. then we walked up to china town to find something to eat for our lunch. We decided to try the indonesian food this time in nelayan indonesian restaurant. This is the only indonesian restaurant where i can spotted on easily in city. I had 2 choices food with rice, vegetables, and fried chicken there. The food is just ordinary, but anyway still feel yummy because all of us already starving at that time. Once we finished our lunch, we decided to go back to hotel to have a rest.
After having a rest in hotel for a couple hours , around 8pm we went to southbank area. Actually we want to go to crown casino, but because my wife’s uncle stay around there as well, we thought we just go to visit him for a while. We stayed at his apartment for almost an hour then we went straight to the crown casino. It does nicer than starcity casino in sydney though, looks more luxury with all the interior design and shops out site the casino. Around 11.30 pm we went straight back to hotel, because tomorrow at 7 pm we have to get ready already for our 1 day tour to great ocean road.

I’ve been to Melbourne twice, it is a wonderful city with the modern architecture around Yarra River. Also get ready to enjoy a wide variety of foods from many countries with reasonable price. So it’s not only satisfy your eyes with a spectacular building of Melbourne but also satisfy your stomach with a fabulous meal. Melbourne is not as big as Sydney but it is great place for oversea students who wish to study in Australia because the city’s not too crowded. But, i heart from my friends who live there that how crazy is the weather in Melbourne coz sometimes it has 4 seasons in one day.
So far Melbourne is nice place to visit
