Jetstar $3 sale fare
I received email from jetstar this morning, saying that tonight at 8pm there will be a surprise biggest ever sale from jetstar for the jetmail member. And they mentioned that you will only be able to get the offer by clicking on the offer from the email. So they encourage people to subscribe to their mailing list which they call as jetmail. Smart advertising strategy from jet star which for sure will increase the subscription to their jetmail mailing list.
Because i was curious, i go online at 8pm and keep checking my email, but till 8.15 pm i still got nothing. Until 8.20 pm then i got the email. It must be because of so many people subscribe to jetmail , thats why takes time to send out the email. Here is what they offer :

that’s very cheap ! I tried to make a booking, but it keeps give me an error or time out like this:

Can you imagine, how many hits at the same time request to jetstar website server at this time? For sure most of people will get the error or request time out. Finally i can see the result one time but the $3 seat already sold out and only normal rate is available. Are this $3 really available ? or it is just jet star marketing strategy, which actually the $3 seat are actually not available, or it could be actually available , but its very very limited. What you reckon guys? Anyone able to grab the $3 deal?
